Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of all cryptoip.io services and is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to you and to anyone using services under your account. We may update it at any time; the current version always lives at this URL.
1. Zero-tolerance categories
The following result in immediate termination without notice or refund, preservation of relevant logs, and reporting to law enforcement and relevant organizations:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving minors, in any form.
- Content or services facilitating terrorism, human trafficking, or violent extremism.
- Distribution of malware, ransomware, or command-and-control (C2) infrastructure for botnets.
- Coordinated network attacks, including originating or controlling denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks.
2. Illegal & harmful content
You may not use the Service to store, host, transmit, or link to content or activity that is illegal in your jurisdiction or in the jurisdiction where the serving node is located, including:
- Fraud, phishing, carding, fake documents, or financial scams.
- Sale of controlled substances, weapons, or other regulated goods in violation of law.
- Content that infringes others' rights or that is defamatory or harassing.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery or content that violates another person's privacy.
3. Network abuse
To protect the network everyone shares, you may not:
- Launch, participate in, or provide infrastructure for DoS/DDoS or amplification/reflection attacks.
- Perform unauthorized port scanning, vulnerability scanning, brute-forcing, or penetration testing against systems you do not own or lack written authorization to test.
- Spoof IP addresses, forge packet headers, or evade network controls.
- Operate open DNS resolvers, open proxies, open mail relays, or other services prone to abuse without appropriate access controls.
- Generate traffic patterns intended to disrupt or degrade upstream, peer, or third-party networks.
4. Email & messaging abuse
- No unsolicited bulk email (spam), whether the message originates from our network or merely references a service hosted with us.
- No harvesting of addresses, list-selling, or sending to purchased lists.
- Mailings must comply with applicable anti-spam laws and include valid opt-out. Repeated blocklistings of our IP ranges caused by your activity are a serious violation.
5. Security & malware
- No hosting, distribution, or control of malware, exploit kits, spyware, keyloggers, or credential stealers.
- No phishing pages or infrastructure impersonating others to obtain credentials or payment details.
- No use of the Service to gain unauthorized access to any system, network, or account.
6. Resource abuse
Shared and virtualized products are sized for normal workloads. You may not:
- Sustain resource consumption that materially degrades service for other customers on shared infrastructure.
- Run cryptocurrency mining, hashing, or proof-of-work workloads on shared or VPS products where prohibited at checkout. Where you need this, ask us about dedicated capacity.
- Circumvent billing, quotas, or per-plan limits.
7. Intellectual property & copyright
You must hold the rights to all Content you host. We respond to valid copyright complaints. Send notices, including the material at issue, its location (URL/IP), your contact details, and a good-faith statement, to abuse@cryptoip.io. Repeat infringers will be terminated.
8. Your responsibility
You are responsible for everything done through your services, including by your users, customers, or anyone who obtains your credentials. Our privacy-respecting ordering model does not reduce your accountability. Keeping your instances patched and secured is your responsibility; a compromised instance used to attack others is still your violation.
9. Enforcement
Depending on severity, we may: issue a warning and request remediation; rate-limit or null-route offending traffic; suspend the affected service; or terminate immediately. For active attacks, active malware, or zero-tolerance content, we act first and notify after. Suspension or termination for AUP violations does not entitle you to any refund. We preserve and, where legally required or appropriate, disclose relevant records to competent authorities.
10. Reporting abuse
To report abuse of our network or services, email abuse@cryptoip.io with as much detail as possible: the offending URL or IP address, timestamps with time zone, and relevant logs or headers. We investigate all credible reports and act quickly.
